If you’re using a Multi-User License for GARDEN+, you’ll want to invite your teammates so you can build your brand together. Here’s a simple, step-by-step guide to adding members - even if you’ve never used Notion before.
How to Add a Team Member to Your Notion Workspace:
Step 1: Open Settings & Members
Go to the top right corner of your Notion window.
Click on the three dots (⋮) or the gear icon (⚙️), depending on your version.
Select Settings & Members from the dropdown menu.
This will open a panel where you manage your entire workspace.
Step 2: Invite a Member
In the Members tab, click the Invite members button.
Type in your teammate’s email address.
You can invite one person or several at the same time.
Step 3: Choose Their Role
When you invite someone, Notion will ask you to assign a role:
Member → Can add/edit content, perfect for most teammates.
Admin → Can manage settings and billing (only give this to trusted team leads).
Guest → Limited access to a single page, not the full workspace.
For GARDEN+, you’ll usually choose Member.
Step 4: Send the Invite
Click Invite.
Your teammate will get an email with a link to join.
Once they accept, they’ll appear in your Members list.
Step 5: Confirm Access
After they’ve joined:
Go back to Settings & Members.
Make sure their name shows under Members.
You can adjust roles anytime by clicking the dropdown next to their name.
Tips for Using GARDEN+ With a Team
Invite the right people → Think marketing, content, design, or anyone shaping your brand.
Keep Admins limited → 1–2 people max should control billing and settings.
Use Guests wisely → Perfect for freelancers or external partners who only need to see one part of the workspace.
Final Thoughts
Adding your team members to Notion is the first step toward working together inside your GARDEN+ workspace. Once they’re in, you can start assigning tasks, collaborating on templates, and keeping your brand organized in one shared hub.
